BENTON RESOURCES, ROYAL ROADS & GOLDEN DORY APPROVE 2009 PROGRAM FOR LONG RANGE NICKEL JOINT VENTURE, NEWFOUNDLAND – DRILL TARGETS IDENTIFIED
"... Among the targets selected for further work is a 600 metre long VTEM conductive anomaly described by Geotech Ltd. as “a relatively strong conductor consistent with massive sulphides”. This target has been selected for testing by diamond drilling, and it is anticipated that additional targets will be developed from results of the prospecting and ground geophysical surveys."

Survey Operations
For each survey Geotech Airborne Pty Ltd. provides:
- necessary qualified personnel required to complete the survey
- supply of the technical equipment with spares necessary to fly the survey in an expeditious manner
- supervision of the helicopter and its crew
- processing of the geophysical data on-site
- preparation and delivery to the client of all the final products
Survey crew
The survey crew usually consists of the following personnel:
- A Geophysicist or Geophysical Technician to supervise the survey operations, perform quality control of the data and to assist in logistics management
- Systems Operator to maintain and operate the geophysical instruments
- A Survey Pilot, who has demonstrated his ability to fly the geophysical instrumentation safely and within survey specifications
- An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to undertake progressive maintenance of the aircraft, thus minimizing down-time
Helicopter
Geotech conducts VTEM surveys with the extremely versatile Eurocopter Astar helicopter. Other types of helicopters have been utilized in previous surveys, but the Astar is the helicopter of choice. This helicopter has the necessary sling load capacity and endurance to efficiently fly VTEM surveys. Depending on the survey terrain Astar BA, B2 or B3 model is utilized.
